Half Windsor Tie Knot

The Half Windsor Tie Knot is a more formal version of knots than the four in hand knot. This knot looks more modest than the Windsor knot. It is a triangular and a symmetrical knot that could be wore on any shirt.

Stand in front of a mirror and follow the steps:

  • Extend the wide end from the right side for about a foot to the narrow end of the tie.

  • Let the wide end go over the narrow end of the tie.

  • From the left side to the right side, bring underneath the wide end.

  • Now, going from right side to the left side, bring from the middle of the loop the wide end.

  • Now bring around the front side the wide end. - Through the loop, bring the wide end, i.e., from the right to the center.

  • Hold the front knot with the index finger and through the loop pass the wide end.

  • Now, make the knot tight.

  • Slide the knot up to the collar.

You can practice these knots and make your shirts look more attractive with these knots. These knots also look good on hockey neck tie, sports neck tie, college neck tie, and other neck ties.
